The organization was founded by Christine Hemmingsen in 1883 as a way to provide social and financial aid to fellow Danes who immigrated to America. Today, our lodge continues to support the heritage and culture of the Danish people.

Farvel or Mojn
A more formal way to say goodbye is to say Farvel,
but in the southern part of Jylland, it is common to say mojn!
